Trooper Taylor to keep working

Assistant head coach Trooper Taylor will continue to work until Auburn hires a new coach, we are told. Whether he stays beyond that will be up to the new coach.

When head coach Gene Chizik was fired Sunday, the assistants were given the option to continue working. They'll be paid through June regardless. We're working to find out if any other assistants will continue on their jobs.​

• Taylor will continue recruiting duties in an effort to hold Auburn's current class of commitments together.
