He's most likely going to take a year off with his family in LA. Time to hop on board the Chris Hatcher train, I guess. :D

I've been on it since Monday. I never thought chow was a possibility. I think we need to move toward the spread & Hatcher is the guy. If Tutorsee can get Richmond's head coach as OC I don't see why we can't get Hatcher.

sorry, i'm out of the loop. who's chris hatcher?

HC at Georgia Southern. Killed it at Valdosta State. Learned the spread from coaching under Hal Mumme at Valdosta State & Kentucky.

Most noted for being a head coach at Valdosta State where he put together a very explosive spread offense that lead to them winning the Div II championship in 2004.

Current Head Coach at Georgia Southern.

Was a candidate for the Ga Tech job (may have been the #2 candidate if rumors are true).

He's worked for Belichek for a good while. That's pretty high level experience in itself.

I'm not necessarily pulling for this guy, just saw his name pop up in a blog, and it was one I had not seen mentioned before.

I knew it was a long shot, and it may be dead in the water, but Saban to Bama was dead in the water in the first of December of 06.

Unlikely, but you never know.

Perhaps he's just waiting to see what Pete does.
