WVU's Devine, was he that running back that we almost landed the same year Tebow commited to UF?

Watching this WVU game, could you imagne the possiblities with this guy? He's quick.

Auburn had better step it up. WVU is looking pretty good. I know I'm in the minority but I always pull for the SEC when they play OOC. On the other hand Finebums radio show will be hilarious if Au loses.

This is a copy and paste from another forum.

A little background on this kid:

- Grew up in a bad neighborhood without much of a family.
-Supposedly involved in gang related violence
-father of two kids by 16 years old
-Deion Sanders saw his potential so he decided to adopt the kid and bring him to his home in Texas. After a couple weeks, Devine stole Deions Bentley, drove it to the airport, and got a flight back home.
-Already suspended for at least two games this season due to in-school altercation.
-Pretty terrible grades that might not even qualify him under NCAA Clearinghouse rules
-Etc, etc, etc

Im a HUGE high school and college football fan so I follow recruiting extremely closely (even have a subscription to Rivals.com and Scout.com), and there are no words to describe this kid's football ability. On the other hand, he has more "baggage" than any high school recruit in while. He's a top 10 prospect across the board, probably #1 if he didnt have so many off the field issues, but not many schools want to actually offer the kid a scholarship because he probably wont qualify grades-wise or may end up getting booted from school anyway.

So far he only has offers from USC, Nebraska, and Florida St, when kids across the country with half the talent he has hold about 50 or so offers. They seem to be the only schools willing to take a chance with this kid.

If he clears admissions wise, I see him ending up at FSU. He do seem to want to leave the state or his kids.

I agree. AU has scored 17 points off of 3 WVU turnovers. WVU has way more rushing yards. WVU driving again.
