not one to bash a player so that's not what this is, but Mccarron has outplayed Sims and thats all there is to it.

maybe could work on his "throw-it-the-hell-away" play, but other than that he is THE starter in my opinion

I concur. I hate it for Sims but he just doesn't seem to be just there yet. Hope he doesn't transfer out and will stick around. AJ has lots to learn but I feel more comfortable with the team in his hands than in Sims'.

Generally concur.
AJ looks to be our best chance to win, but does need to continue to grow (and find the missing throw-the-ball-away page from his play book). I believe he will respond well not having to look over his shoulder for Sims.

I like Sims. I look forward to him being under center, but he is not there yet...yet. We need him in Crimson. If AJ goes down, Phillip is THE man. He's is good enough that I believe that he leads us to a bowl, but the SEC is so tough that Atlanta would be a stretch for Sims (May be a bridge too far for AJ.)

I am hoping that Saban can give Sims a little time to play against the Razorbacks. But I don't want to see a cold QB going into a close game. I think that we may need Sims later in the season and if he can get some experience playing against an SEC team all the better.

Of course, as someone pointed out, he is practicing against the best defense in college football:biggrin:
