🏈 No more Hell's bells.

It takes a pretty big pansy to cry about petty crap like this. I've lost all respect (what little I had) for USCjr. They are now almost on par with my hatred for UT, Auburn and LSU. Congrats on making the list USCjr.

As if the tape and noise makers didn't wet their beds enough it seems they're reporting us for other "issues" they have.

-Our grass was too green
-Our popcorn had too much salt
-Dreamland is available inside the stadium
-Non-visor infractions
-Our stadium was too big and held too many people
-It was too windy
-We have too many RBs
-Mark Ingram is a robot
-CNS ate their coach for breakfast and sharted him back out in time for the game
-We allow our women to wear dresses and throw some leg in the endzone (distraction)
-Our cheer leaders are actual women
-Chuck Norris actually showed up
-Our museum had too much history

The SEC and NCAA are both looking into these infractions and will issue a statement soon....

I always thought it would be a good idea to play extremely loud crowd noise over the PA.

I love my loud music, but I've never been a fan of hearing it pumped loudly over a stadium PA. I always figured it was unnecessary if you have a band in the stands.

Until something is done about MSU and their cowbells, I don't want to hear a word about Alabama (or other SEC teams) playing a few seconds of music (or even a rooster crow) while a team is in the huddle. Either enforce the artificial noisemaker rule(s) at all schools, or do away with the rule.

First, within reason I like the idea of artificial noise. It adds character and energy.

Second, CONCUR 100% that until the cowbells are addressed it is hypocratic to address Hell's Bells, Fog Horns, and Crowing Roosters.

Although, these rules have been in place for decades...which underscores the whininess of the comments about the crowd noise. Artificial Noise?!? Really?!? You think the noise was the difference in that game? I thought we won thanks to white tape.;)

I caught this one as part of a similar list yesterday...posted on Rivals.

- Discourteous pattern of lights displayed on scoreboard showing Alabama with more points than South Carolina at end of game.

 I wouldn't be surprised if we have to start vacating wins for this.

Apparently this is just an SEC memo not a NCAA reminder of P.A. noise because N.Carolina is ''hellbelling'' FLA.ST. every play on ESPNs thurs.night ACC game tonight as i type this.

SEC banned artificial noise makers in 1975 the conference went as far as taking onfield action allowing refs. to penalize a team 15 yds. for fans ''use of artificial noise makers'' it was MSU called one time during a home game .

Cowbells are prohibited from MSU stadium during SEC games but its a
''dont ask ,dont tell'' senerio with gate security
If they dont see them as fans come in ,they dont tell.
If they (cowbells) are in plain site they are confiscated.

As far as BANDS they must stop playing when the opposing team breaks huddle .as far as the ''by-laws'' Bands are considered institutionally controlled & dont fall under the artificial noise maker policy.

The ''by-laws'' detail the appropriate time & usage of stadium speakers (which i havent read) but do state BANDS,FANS,and CHEERLEADERS are under a different policy than the ARTIFICIAL NOISE policy.

These policies are the responsibility of the officials monitoring the game
and are RARELY INFORCED.

SWAC conference rules state if the BAND continues to play when opposing
team goes to line of scrimmage 1st. is a verbal warning
2nd. is a one game suspension
3rd. is the band is kept off the field and out of the stands for the rest of the season .Hell Bells.:no-no:
