I am looking forward to us playing tonight and wish I could go. If the Alabama fans don't support this team we won't continue to get the kind of talent that we have been getting. They want to play for Avery but it is up to the supporters to make it a fun environment for them to play in.

I enjoyed watching our youth play last week. They played hard defensively even though they got called for a ton of fouls in the first half (many of them were questionable). They looked great in transition and we could knock down some outside shots for a change. It will only get better with Sexton in there now and when we can get Key and some of our other veterans back on the floor.. we could be pretty good.

I think we are going to be one of the deepest teams in the league and we will have the ability to defend anybody. We dropped into a zone for a while and they where so long and athletic it was scary. If we can truly master the movement in those different zone defenses we could be very nasty.

Are we on National television tonight? I looked everywhere for the memphis game, but never could find it. It said SEC Network+ with the Memphis game. Is that a special regional option or something? I'm in Athens, Georgia.

They were a little out of sorts tonight but they are still forming their identity. I believe they will establish themselves as a defensive team who wants to get out and run. You can see the level of athletes on the floor is much better.

That was fun. Not really bad, a little helter-skelter with pace, but to be expected with all that youth. We still have to get a couple players back and the experience will be a big help to this group. In the meantime, nothing shy about Sexton and Petty and in the second half they went small ball and that was finally the end of Lipscomb.

I've been watching Bama B-ball back to Leon Douglas, TR Dunn, Mule King and so on and so forth. Is there some type of right of passage that states you can't play for the Crimson Tide unless you agree to brick our free throws? Man, that was truly annoying, cause you just knew they were good shooters following an old tradition at Coleman.
