🏈 GAME THREAD No. 1 Alabama Falls to No. 2 Clemson in 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, 44-16

Clemson ain't this good.

Unless the shoe is on the other foot. If we were in Clemson's place going into this game #2, underrated, expected to lose, and pulled off that first half .... I reeeeeally doubt you'd be saying " We're under rated".
Dude you'd yellin' stuff like "We're playin' the game we all knew we could play! We got this!!" Come on... be fair. Clemson prepared and even Saban said so...they are using plays CNS hadn't prepared for.

I don't understand the "they are using plays we having practiced for". The whole issue to me is that their freshman quarterback has all day in the pocket to find a receiver .

That's the whole thing. He has had zero pressure. He needs to see the ground a lot next half.

This half-time show is horrendous.

Ice pick in the ears horrendous. Juco Karaoke.

Clemson has 27 yards rushing at the half but they lead by 15. They have 197 yards passing and that's what is killing the Tide, that and the mistakes (including turnovers).

I agree...

We’ve made way too many mistakes. Credit to CU for taking advantage and having a scheme that has confused our D....

We’ve moved the ball well and should have more points ourselves... but again mistakes.

Issue will be that up by 12 gives CU freedom to gamble and play Agressive/Loose. We need to take advantage of that and claw back into it.

Dafuq is tosh doing?

Sell out, bring 6 every time..
Rushing 4 isn't doing it.

My question why do they keep taking Quinnen out on third downs? Makes no sense, especially when you're not willing to bring extra rushers.
He DEMANDS doubeteams in every snap.

That frees up an extra rusher. We should leave him in and at least bring 5.

Of all our missteps (other than the halftime show), Bama leaving the run at midfield when we had the chance to deplete their line. A chance at a killing blow, they wouldn't have been the same the rest of the game, and we wing it long into coverage.
