What is the deal with Nico Johnson? Yes, I know all that "Coach Saban knows what he's doing" stuff and I agree but jesus Nico has been around the ball everytime hes been on the field this year and was really evident this week. I just don't get why hes not starting or at least playing more. Hell, he had the best game on defense today other than Dont'a in my opinion.

i agree. there must be some mental error problem we can't see on the field because to me he looks like our best and fastest linebacker right now. it seemed like every play he was on the ball no matter which way the play went. rtr

There was a quote from last week from a player about another linebacker (can't remember which one - I'll try to find it) that essentially said so and so was coming along as LB, having the willingness to do their job and not get out of position trying to be a hero. If Nico doesn't stay at home when he's supposed to, it'll haunt us in the important games. I'm not saying that's the issue, but I trust the coaches to put who they think needs to be out there.

yes, was more thinking that Harris being out and then Dont'a getting hurt created openings that allowed Nico to come in.
