First ever Rookie QB starting a playoff game for Oakland ( Conner Cook), Raiders down 2o-7 late 3rd.
Raiders barely over 100 yards total offense. Coop just missed/dropped pass for big gain.

Cooper 1 catch for 1 yard :eyeroll:

Now we have video evidence of why we don't see that situation more often. Hope the second game has a pluse.

Figured Dallas/Green Bay winner would represent NFC in super bowl but Falcons got me reconsidering. I know Seattle not the same team on road but Matt Ryan is playing as well as Aaron Rogers but with more weapons. Just hope Julio can stay on the field.

For the first time this year, I'm truly impressed with the Falcons and especially the defense that didn't just hold up but dominated in many situations. The Falcons have the deserved reputation of being built for the regular season, but if they insist on playing this level of defense along with what looks like a running game that can be counted on in the red zone and short yardage, I'm in.

The marquee matchup this weekend, Dallas/Green Bay is gonna be a goodie. Dallas will be tough to beat at home, BUT, if they somehow can't hang on and the Packers pull it out then Atlanta plays at home next week. Nice consolation prize, for me anyway.

When that 2nd kick left the foot there was no way it looked good. It straightened out like someone was guiding it.

I smell a conspiracy. Actually, number 89 never broke out of a fast trot all the way across the field without even one defender even trying to cover him on 4th and 20. That's the one that smelled kinda rotten to me.

Here is a look at how former University of Alabama players in the National Football League performed in the divisional round of the playoffs:

HaHa Clinton-Dix, Green Bay Packers safety, made four tackles vs. Dallas.

Dont'a Hightower, New England Patriots linebacker, made eight tackles vs. Houston.

Kareem Jackson, Houston Texans cornerback, made four tackles vs. New England.

Cyrus Jones, New England Patriots cornerback, did not play (inactive).

Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons receiver, caught six passes for 67 yards and a touchdown vs. Seattle.

Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers running back, did not play (reserve/injured).

Jarran Reed, Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle, made three tackles vs. Atlanta.

Courtney Upshaw, Atlanta Falcons linebacker, played vs. Seattle.
