Cholly Mac's Tigers always put on a great show with guys like Charles Alexander, Cassanova, Bert Jones, those teams always had great talent on it. It was just hard for him to beat the Bear. They were still plenty scary.

LSU was my 2nd favorite team back in those days. I liked the way they played under Coach Mac.

Super game to be at. That was the beginning of Bama's domination in Baton Rouge. 1969 would be LSU's last win there for the next 30 years. Un-freakin' believable record.
