There's no doubt that Alabama is going to get sober about introducing power football back into the offense. Hurts is going to run the spread option and if defenses don't stop said option any better than last season we will be seeing a lot of it. Locksley is the conduit we need to stay fluid with what we do best as Daboll puts his stamp on this team. Getting Mike on the field is one of the smartest moves of the offseason.
Hurts' achilles heel last year was his passing. You know that it will be an emphasis in the Spring. CNS wants to be able to score every way possible. Hurts to the right and Hurts to the left isn't going to work (we saw how Clemson stopped him in the second half of the NCG. It wouldn't surprise me if the offense is 70-30 pass to run during the Spring (but very likely to be more 50-50 when the season comes).
