Football discussion show set for Mondays throughout the season
SEC football fans can extend their football-filled weekends through Monday nights this fall when SEC Network analysts Greg McElroy and Marcus Spears debut a weekly football talk show dedicated to reviewing āthe weekend that wasā in SEC football. Airing Mondays at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network from September 4 through December 4, the one-hour Thinking Out Loudwill provide dedicated and casual football fans alike with fast-paced, in-depth analysis and debate about the teams and games from the previous weekend in SEC country.
āIf you are a fan of SEC football, the weekend doesnāt end on Saturday. We are fortunate to have two of the best minds in college football collaborating on this new venture. Going into their fourth year on the network, we decided to switch things up and let them host their own show. If fans are talking or tweeting about it, they will most likely see it on Thinking Out Loud,ā said Peter Watters, SEC Network coordinating producer.

McElroy and Spears will invite fans into the discussion via social media and live call-ins, providing a fresh look and feel for both the viewer and the college football TV landscape. Whether connecting to campus, or sophisticated statistics, at the conclusion of this show each week, the viewer is sure to be better informed about SEC football.
āOur goal on Thinking Out Loud will be to break down the weekendās biggest plays and highlights solely from a playerās perspective. With Marcusā personality and our appreciation for the Xs and Os, it will make for a fun destination for football fans,ā McElroy said.
