Pitt or another intermediate type program? Maybe. No way a program like Florida takes a chance on a guy less than five years removed from a high school coaching job with ZERO head coaching experience at the college level.

Florida is in a bit of a spot is that it is big enough of a program that it need a coach who can also run a large, high profile program. UF ain't Florida International. That, and the fact that the coach will need to win a game or two, means that UF can't afford to go with an unproven commodity. This means that Malzone in not an option.

Honestly, reaching to Utah was a stretch that panned out with CUM.
