New Field Look

Slanted letters, Crimson Tide on far end.

I can't decide how I like it. They're testing it out tomorrow at ADay.

I have a really stupid question:

I keep noticing that durring games....on the side lines there is always the big peice of white tarp laid on the sidelines with Circles and numbers on it. kinda looks like some odd ball vertion of the mat you play twister on.

What is that and what's it for???

Think of it as a gathing place for a team. Ten circles, each assigned to a given specific player with that units's Captain in front. Yeah, it kind of like training wheels, but when perfection is the goal one will take all steps needed.

I like it. As an artist (and I use to do fields, for all the area teams), the field looks really nice. I love hearing this old fashion stuff. Sometimes it is better not to stay in the past,especially in design and appearance. Not hat drastic of a change and it really makes the end zones stand out.

Well, if a player tries a play for a shortgain score, he can't say he couldn't find the endzone. IT'S THAT BIG RED RECTANGULAR THING WITH THE HUGE WHITE LETTERS ON IT.:slap: :lol:
