🏈 new alabama fan.

I get a strange "trojan horse" feeling about you, buddy.

That said, welcome!

On a positive note, you are already slightly cooler than 1 Bama fan I've seen: the crying frat boy at the lsu game.

:a:

Yeah, Mick, let's get with it. Seriously, all you who just lurk, we'd like to see you in there posting. Most of us regulars don't bite.

You are absolutely right. How many posts do I need to reach in order to meet all you guys at a tailgate next year?

Will the senior posters here take offense to the fact that my football IQ is unmatched when it comes to our beloved Crimson Tide?

one more thing: what the hell is this all about?? >>>>>:15:

As far as the tailgate, just let the organizers (usually Porter and Doe) know that you plan to come. watch the board for details. As for the graemlin, I think it just means something the poster is really fired up about. I don't use that particular one.

Oh, I forgot to add this.

Free country, you can be a fan of what ever team you choose, but for me personally, I know of only 2 good reasons to change the school/team that you're a fan of.

A: If you wind up going to a college other than the one you've been a fan of all your life.

B: You meet and start dating this really hot chick that is a fan of a different school/team and wants you to be a fan fan of that same school/team. It's okay to change then also, but only while you a around the really hot chick. When are not around her, then you keep your allegiance with your original team.

There is a third reason. I told an Auburn fan once that I had grown up an Auburn fan (from Lanett, 25 miles from the campus), mainly because we had several guys I knew play for the Tigers. He asked me how I became a Bama fan. I told him I had a religious experience (that is, I came to my senses). But, you're right, Bo. You don't usually jump ship for no good reason.
