Maybe I'm wrong, but I think you can be a fan of both Bama and Clemson. Anyways, suggest the second string QB would be better when the first string throws a pick and you'll be fine.

Welcome to Alabama, though most of here can claim the "life-long" tag, you can't. It'll be harder for most to accept this, but I promise you that eventually given a year or so you'll be a welcome addition to the family. Picking Clemson's best year is a bit odd, but I can understand...I am a Titan's fan in the NFL and thought about switching allegiances this year because I didn't like Jeff Fisher leaving or the possibility of picking up Cam Newton when we'd just had Vince Young. When they picked up Jake Locker they saved me as a fan, but I guess that's only because I'm not as fond of the NFL as I am Alabama Football. I lived through some great years and even through or mediocre seasons and our violations and problems, but I'll never abandon the Tide and that is the type of mentality you need as an Alabama fan. I had season tickets through the Dubose years and other years where we just weren't a top caliber team. I even braved the two feet of snow in my first ever chance to watch them in the Music City Bowl versus Virginia Tech...and stayed to the 4th quarter when we were being blown-out. Gotta pay your dues my friend, but if you do, we'll all accept you one way or another.

Oh and one other important piece of information. If a recruit does not come to Bama, it is because he is slow and lazy. Sorry if this was posted earlier.

You should have switched allegiances from the Titans simply because they're the Titans...

Also, @TheChief: I don't see anything wrong with being a fan of one team in football, and another in say basketball. I'm an Alabama fan in all college sports, though. Giants fan in the NFL. And I have always had a special place for Vandy just since they're always the underdog. And I also follow Nebraska football since a friend lives there. Just to make them happy.

Of course, though, I am and always will be an extremely loyal Bama fan in all sports. I would not miss a game of any Bama sport for almost anything.
