🏈 Need a pick-me-up and/or a silver lining?

@TWeaver14: Wanna know how good Bama's been? Look at all the people celebrating that never had a dog in the fight....especially big 12 sports writers

tell me about it.

on another forum i frequent, there are many members there who are so glad that 'BAMA, or any team from the SEC for that matter, isn't in the title game.

I'm not gonna sugar coat this at all, It sucks losing and it hurts but what I hate is having to put up with all the crap that follows. I will be gracious to a point and then I will let them have it. I didn't brag or trash talk before the game and I expect the same from them. Act like you've been the before man. We are BAMA and there will always be a target on our back.

Regardless of the outcome of the Sugar Bowl, this is my favorite Bama team of all time. The QB nobody really wanted to be our QB had the greatest season of any QB we've ever had. We overcame key injuries, a loss to a team we normally dominate, a new Offensive Coordinator who was toxic before he was hired. This team has no reason to hang its head. This was our rebuilding year...

Sorry but I am full of silver linings.

Sports Illustrated and the national sports media headlines today are predicting the death of the SEC and saying the BAMA loss is a dramatic change to the football landscape. With the hiring of the new coaches and changes that have been made this year I believe they will be eating crow again next year. Their Bandwagon is overloaded.

Silver lining for me:
12-2 record
Our QB had the best statistical year in the history of Bama football.
We have a great punter.
DL played solid for most of the year.
New offensive system and OC.
We could have easily lost a couple of more games.
