You may not. I don't follow what he puts out there. But, the notion no one cares about what his opinion is? Oh, they do. He dug his hole back in 2006 with all of his "editorial" pieces—written as a beat writer—about how UA wasn't a job anyone wanted and how those talking about the names being bantered about at that time were dreaming.

I'm as sure as I could ever be on anything that Alabama fans have reminded him of those pieces time and time again. And, those reminders have likely incensed him even more towards the fan base.
