A reversal of fortunes, per se.
When we see football matchups between ACC and SEC schools we also see the SEC favored the vast majority of the time. In soccer, the positions are reversed. Much like the PAC ruled softball for a few decades, how long have we seen the ACC dominate women's soccer? (UNC is a talent factory.)
The ladies are facing Duke:
TopDrawer had the Blue Devils ranked at #6.
NCAA's rankings place Duke at #8.
And UnitedSoccer (a version of the coaches poll) has them at #8 as well.
Bama has beaten every ranked team they've played (5) with four of the matches at home. This is a home game for the Tide.

Does ND play in the ACC in Women's soccer? If so, they have 5 teams in the Elite Eight. FSU, UNC, UVA, along with Duke.
