NCAA Men's Golf Championship: Alabama vs Oklahoma State for the Title! 3PM CT start times on the Golf Channel

I thought that triple, bogey, bogey run was gonna end it. Our guys played through it and threw a few darts in there at the end. Regroup and see how we do against the Red Raiders. Exactly like they said about our girls during match play against Arizona, I take us in stroke play, but match play is a different ballgame. Hopefully we can find that Fall magic and play lights out. Got the favorable side of the bracket if you ask me.

3 of the 10 players have a top 100 ranking noted by the NCAA. I have shown the ranking below for those 3, along with their cumulative score for the event, and a comment for each match.

Match 1 - #31 Hodges +2 vs Blomme +2
These 2 tied for the 4 rounds but Blomme played much better than his average. Hodges should be considered the favorite.

Match 2 - #33 Riley +3 vs Ramirez -5
This is the feature match. Ramirez has been on fire and finished tied for 4th in the individual competition. Not sure why he didn't play better during the season but he has a 67, 72, 71, 73 in this tourney so this is a huge match.

Match 3 - Furr +19 vs Hogan +21
This is the match between the #5 player on each team.

Match 4 - Shore +7 vs Scott +23
Shore has scored better than Scott by multiple strokes all 4 days.

Match 5 - Hardee +9 vs #72 Long +1
This is the only match where it would clearly be an upset for us to win.

#2 Texas A&M vs #1 Oklahoma State to start out match play is interesting.
#1 Okie State
#2 Duke
#3 Texas Tech
#4 Oklahoma
#5 Auburn
#6 Bama
#7 Texas
#8 Texas A&M

@BamaFan334, I'd like to see them notch their three wins before they play a lot of the back nine. I'll wear anyone out. And to think they've got to go at it one more time this afternoon?

AT this rate they may be dormey by noon on matches 2 and 3.

Well, look at how it's turning now, all tied up. Match play has shown to be a crazy turn of events with a lot of these. Oklahoma was looking good with Auburn, now Auburn has the edge. Duke was looking good with Texas, now Texas fighting back. You just never know.
