šŸˆ NCAA investigating Auburn

I don't know of any questions being asked other than Jovon. The Trooper and Luper stuff is unrelated. If they're digging into more than Jovon, no one has an idea what it is about--including Forde or it would've been reported. This article was a rehash of the old crap from August.

This season sucked so bad I don't care. To be clear, I'm not trying to defend just passing along what info I have. No need for your brethren across the net to dust off their megathreads quite yet.

There are other questions being asked. Players currently at UA have been questioned about their recruitment as well as players at UGA.

Trooper is related to JR. He was recruiting him.

You're right in the sense a lot of this is this story being told again. There are a few exceptions to note. One of them is the claim Auburn beat writers were posting a few months ago that Auburn found out about the grade transcript change and brought it to the attention of the NCAA. This asserts it was noticed by the NCAA when Jovon's paperwork filed by Auburn didn't match what was filed by Notre Dame.

If I were you I'd be careful what I believe and skeptical of those covering the story for some of the Auburn sites. Don't misunderstand me, when we were dealing with things back with Fulmer, Means, and the NCAA Alabama beat writers weren't sharing all they knew. That's the case here.

A case in point is Jay Tate posting "his Auburn sources are adamant they haven't received a letter of inquiry." That's true. What he's failing to mention is the NCAA issues a Notice of Allegations as its first move now. The PLOI isn't used anymore.

FWIW, I can't recall any lead recruiter and recruiting coordinator being pulled off the recruiting trail for something as simple as secondary violations in the past. Now, willfully ignoring set guidelines that would be called secondary in other situations? I could see that result in getting pulled off the road.
