NCAA futures: Early favorites, best values
Alabama (11/2): At first blush, there seems to be little value on the defending national champs, given what will be an always-rugged trek in the SEC combined with significant roster turnover. Alabama loses quarterback Jake Coker to graduation, Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry and a wealth of stars from its stifling defense to the NFL. Even so, last year was predicted to be a bit of a "down" year by many analysts for Alabama, and the Crimson Tide ended up with another national title for coach Nick Saban.
