It was bad at times. I mean it was nearly empty versus Auburn at home, something I have not seen since 08.
The attendance caught back up though when we got in the NIT and from what I heard and what everyone said, Coleman was rocking. A lot of us have different opinions on Grant, so we question whether or not to attend the games. He has my full support, and is putting together a solid class right now (6th in the nation). But we all just hate his offensive style. Even teams that absolutely are horrible, but can light it up, their attendance is higher because they like to see a shootout. No one likes to watch a team struggle to get to 50 every game, so less attendance.
Students need to buy into Grant more though. We went undefeated at home in SEC play, and only loss about what? 3 games at home (correct me if I'm wrong). The schedule this year is much harder, but that doesn't mean we won't win a few games. Coleman has a rocking atmosphere when Alabama gets on a run, and the students do a good job at leading the crowd. I think Grant will get us to the NCAA this year, maybe a bubble team, but we need to start competing with elite teams soon.
