⚾ 🥎 NC State was removed from the CWS overnight — reportedly because contact-tracing wiped out too many of the unvaccinated players off the roster

I think that if they had gotten vaccinated, then they wouldn't have had to test in Omaha. Could be wrong about that, but I believe that is how it worked.
That's how it was supposed to work but testing non-vaccinated turned into testing all. I've seen some point to the Board of Health in that county as the reason for the vaccinated individuals being tested.

You can still get the virus and transmit, dude. You not know that or like many others seemingly thinking jt makes you invincible?
First, did you mean, “Do you not know…”? “You not know” sounds more like a statement than a question. Are you telling me that I don’t know or asking me?

Second, I am fully vaccinated, and I still avoid being in crowds and still wear a mask. So, I absolutely do not think that being vaccinated makes you invincible. However, in this case, had they been vaccinated, then they may not have had it, and they would not have been tested anyway if they had been vaccinated.

I'd sue the absolute shit out of whomever made this decision. Full stadium and still worried about this bullshit? All about the players, right?
Haven't really figured all that out
You can fill-a stadium. A restaurant. A church. Walmart. Whatever

but players have to be tested. Not fans, diners, shoppers, worshippers???????

i just don't understand this

either the virus is or it isnt! Right?

Wow. Not questioning u but is this being paranoid or safe?

nothing can keep u 100% from everything... common cold, flu, etc
So do you do on a regular basis

but once you are vaccinated... isnt that the reason to get the shot
Or, maybe to just improve ur odds against contracting any
air borne virus

I ... for one... got my shots... waited a few weeks and shucked the mask and resumed life ( and am older person)

sincerely not questioning your decision. Just curious the perspective

In all honesty, I was a germaphobe before COVID started. After hearing stories of some vaccinated people still getting COVID, I decided to still be cautious, especially since people with my blood type tend to have more severe symptoms and complications. I also noticed that I haven’t had any other illness since wearing a mask, so that was another bonus.

I was asking, but either way it doesn't matter because if you're making that statement one would hope you were educated on it before making that comment.

So knowing getting vaccinated can still get you the virus and that you're able to spread it, you feel the team should have gotten vaccinated and would have not had this issue? Zero clue how any of that makes sense, or that the NCAA allowing crowds isn't the reason the team got it. In the end, it was a bullshit decision by whomever made the decision to kick them out of the World Series.

Makes zero sense when you look at the fact they'd played multiple games in VERY close proximity to other teams, yet they just got the virus and no one else has. Sounds fishy.
