🏈 NC game

I would like to see Texas lose and pave the way for TCU to get into the championship game. The reasons are as follows: 1. I would like to see Texas lose (call me selfish but I feel that the performance by MCCoy tonight has given him an edge in the Heisman race and I believe that a loss would give the edge back to the good guy) because I don't feel that they have faced any sort of caliber defense that the SEC brings to the table. How does one judge how good a quarterback is if he has no one rushing him or any type of coverage on the receivers? I will never understand the mentality of big 12 defense. The defense seems much more focus on what to do after the receiver gets the ball as apposed to not letting the receiver actually catch the ball. 2. If (when?) Bama wins the championship I really don't want to hear that TCU was a better team and was cheated out because they were not given a fair shake. I know that this is always a symptom of the BCS but I feel that beating TCU would help to further cement the idea that the winner is the best team in college football.

I would rather play Texas if Bama can make it to the NCG. Bama has never beat Texas and that would be a great time to beat them if you ask me. :)

As my father-in-law would say after being reminded that Alabama has never beaten Texas "yes they have, I saw it!" Which reminds me of a question. I have heard stories of Nameth getting into the endzone for the score and stories of someone stepping out of bounds. What is the story behind the controversy? Forgive me, while I have always wanted Bama to win I have only been really following football for the last 10 or so years.

Colt's a Senior while Mark is a Sophmore, and Alabama has never had a Heisman winner and this kid has had Bama's best season ever; these are the two factors that voters will have to rack-n-stack to decide which way to vote.

LBS' take is that given four years to become the best, Colt can't seperate himself from a guy who was still in high school two years ago. My point is that Mark is deserving because Colt is not deserving.

I do NOT want to play them under ANY circumstances.

Black cloud. If we beat Auburn and Florida, no one will stop us. Florida's defense is far and away better than Texas. Alabama's defense is far and away better than anything Heisman boy Colt will have seen and he will end up looking like Gino Torretta! The Tide is rolling doubters be damned! :nana: :td:
