What so funny about BYU was it won it bowl game mid December. But had to wait till the Jan 1 bowls game to be played and the poll to be voted on. This may be the longest any team to find out about winning the AP or Coaches Polls! Colorado and GT were kissing cousin on that '90 one. Toss in Michigan and Nebraska sharing it in 1997 the last year before the BCS started.
