Did anyone happen to see little Joey Goodman’s SEC power rankings/order of finish or some such nonsense today? I typically steer clear of al.com and particularly of little Joey’s columns but a friend said I had to look today. I immediately understood why my UGA friend did that once I saw the piece. Little Joey has UGA at the top then Ole Miss, A&M and Bama fourth! He’s predicting that Lane becomes the first Saban disciple to beat him and seems to imply Jimbo will be the second to do so. He’s a piece of work … well a piece of something.

For normal programs that would likely be the case with all the talent that was lost to the NFL and coaching turnover. Bama has two things that combat this 1) Extremely talented and deep roster and 2) Coach Saban.
