Be safe all.

It hit Dallas early this morning, I don't recall Santa making this much noise ever. We got about 2 inches of rain and its been snowing for about an hour now, probably 2" of snow already.

looks like south Louisiana is getting hammered, those in South Alabama be safe.

The forecast was for 80% chance of rain yesterday and 40 % today. the sky was sunny and clear until about 3pm when it started getting cloudy and dark. I figured by then it was time to head home.

Mid-town mobile has been hit by a tornado. Murphy high school

Another tornado? We just had one on the 20th. It tore up a Mercedes Benz car lot.

After checking the news sites, yep one hit at 5pm.

My baby sister lives in Plano. She said they had about three inches of snow, but it was letting up.

Yeah, we ended up getting anywhere from 3"-6". It probably snowed for about 5 hours or so. My backyard has about 6" if I had to guess due to the wind blowing and having a wood fence, the wind was 15mph gusting to 30mph most of the day.

I turned on the Big Green Egg and grilled some steak for Christmas dinner

Up here we had snow on Christmas Eve but it didn't stick .. And today it's been raining/sleeting/snowing/hailing (for real; it keeps switching) all day. It's nasty out, and it's supposed to get much worse tonight.

I heard about the tornado watch and the storms down south, hope you guys are all safe.

Elba, AL bout 40 miles west of Dothan... that was at the most a half mile down the road, it only briefly touched down and it went over several houses but thankfully didnt hurt anything but some trees.

Really glad to hear it didn't hurt anybody. I saw footage of the tornado wreckage from Mobile of a Catholic church and a high school .. Looked nasty but thankfully no one has been reported hurt from that one, either.
