🏈 Name ONLY 1 PLAYER Per Position

Not knocking any of your picks, but go watch some film on Derrick Thomas. DT blocked punts on special teams and in one game, he was asked to cover Cris Carter!! Two underthrown balls were called PI but DT was on Carter like stink on shit!!!
I miss the first half because it was played on a Sunday night! Was the Kick Off Classic. But I watch DT back to back make a PI call against him. I just knew that had cost us the win.

I got a feeling there's going to be a lot more "WR: Waddle" responses after this season. Not sure anyone outside of the football practices has seen exactly what this dude is capable of... And even then there was 3 other 1st rounders taking/sharing the spotlight @ the same time.

Julio, Coop, Ridley, Jeudy... All special in their own right and own way. But none of them have the "burst" of explosiveness I've seen from Waddle. Don't know if it's the combo of balance & acceleration... Or speed & compact strength... Whatever it is, he's different. The return TD's against LSU & Auburn in the biggest moments of the season are things those other cats never did and frankly probably could not do. He's going to put himself in rare air next season, having D. Smith opposite of him will be a perfect storm. RTR

Geez, how many said he wouldn't be drafted? I don't remember and it's not a big deal...just another example of how many people underestimated what he could do.
He started off pretty undraftable, at least at QB. Then his last year at Bama, he made leaps and bounds in his confidence in his arm. Then I thought he became a draft prospect. After his season at OU, I thought he was a 3rd or 4th rounder. Then after the combine and the way he was being talked up, I thought he might could go in the second.

I'm in that bunch! Not sure if I said he wouldn't be drafted, but maybe a late round pick at best.

See, I can admit when I'm wrong! Even though it's really, really rare.

We'll see how that investment works out for the Eagles....

We are talking about Jalen now? So how many of you guys think that him going to Oklahoma that help his draft ranking?

Absolutely. If he stayed at Alabama he wouldn't get as much playing time. In the Big12 they don't play much defense so his WRs were clearly open. He didn't have to thread too many needles. I watched the last NC game against Clemson and he was horrible throwing the ball. Something like 46 yards passing in the first half.

I'm not a Jalen hater so I'm glad it worked out for him and hope he does well in the NFL.

Gotta be with u on this one.....
JH has a lot of unbelievable qualities.....
But.....a passer...well....just a medium....
And D in big12 ..... coverage and tackling,...
Absolutely was a plus for him to be in that conference
....see how this pro career works out,...
Will make some decent money....for sure

I am a huge Jalen fan. I know most on here are as well. Hope he hones his craft and exceeds everyone's expectations as a QB. His intangible qualities and talent will give him a chance for sure. Go for it Jalen and best of luck.
