Good selection. I’m surprised they are going to him again. He’s in a select group that has been the guest/celebrity picker more than once. He pulled out that infamous fur coat the last time. I would have been excited to see Julio in the seat also.

My freshman year, Joe swung by and caught a practice. That was an awesome experience to get to talk and then listen to legend for about 10-15 minutes after practice. Can’t remember if I even bothered to shower afterwards, I just changed clothes and hurried back to call my Dad and tell him!! Joe Willie is a National Treasure!!!

On that note, my old man grew up in Mobile. He didn't go to the actual game, but went down to watch practice one day at Laad Peebles stadium. Said Joe Willie was warming up by himself. He would throw the football at the ground on a bullet, about 20 yards out in front of him, and it would bounce back to him. He had never seen anyone do that, and said Joe was consistent.

Well, Joe obviously picked BAMA.

Corso picked Texas, though. I really don't put any stock into his picks (as some do saying he's usually right in big games with his picks), but it was odd seeing him pick Texas. Does he really believe Texas is better than Alabama? I know on any given Saturday any team can bet any other team. And Sark is definitely a good coach (Coach Saban didn't hire him for no reason). But looking at the numbers and the players we have vs. who they have, I still see BAMA winning it. Plus, its in BDS. And that place will be rocking.

They referred multiple times to depth. Then one of them said do you understand Texas has 3 qbs!!!!! Like that really really makes the difference. That’s cool though. I’d rather everyone pick against the good guys.

I knew when Sweet Home Alabama was playing! He was going to stop it and put on the shorthorn gear!
