Yeah, Ingram dominated. Julio had a HUGE play. Marcel had two big time sacks. Those players had great games, no doubt.

This is the one team this year that I thought would seriously exploit and possibly beat us with special teams. Tiffin comes through BIG TIME. Two touchbacks, one ball to the 1 yard line, and kicking to the corners without going out of bounds seriously helped out kick coverage.

Then, add the fieldgoals.

I cannot imagine wear we would be this season without the superb performance of Javier Arenas. Pass rusher, pass defender, great tackler, unreal return man. The guy contributes a ton to this team every game.

Yes, Leigh Tiffin deserves props but so does Fitzgerald with his punting.

LSU did not register a punt return, resulting in 0 return yardage. Mighty impressive stat against the likes of T. Holliday and Chad Jones!

Wonderful, wonderful game for Leigh Tiffin. He has become an MVP for us during the past few games when the offense needed a little help.

The stat about Fiztgerald: Amazing!! 0, count em, 0 return yards on punts for a team that can make you pay with their special teams. How much has special teams improved since September?

No kidding! He deserves at least part of that safety.

I must say congrats to Tiffin and PJ as well. I still can't (and don't) watch Tiffin kick FG's, but he has proven to be the one of our MVP's. Instead of last year when I dreaded every time he trotted out I now trust him for 3 almost every time. I'm gonna keep not watching just for old time's sake though.

I didn't realize the 0 return yards. Wow! Some around me were frustrated that LSU's punter seemed to get a few within the 5, and the best we could do was the 7, the 15, the 20, etc... I didn't even factor in the lack of return yards though. Yes, I would have loved all of ours within the 5, but with our D we don't always need that.

Great job special teams!

The kicking games of both teams were outstanding. Javvy did have one pretty good ko return. Other than that all the coverage on both sides was excellent.
