📝 My signing day wish.

I've seen some hinting that we might just see that. And from what it sounds like, it's only a matter of WHEN Saban wants him to commit, not IF he wants him to commit. That would make it the top 2 in Georgia for 2013 committed to BAMA, and top 2 in Louisiana in 2012 committed to BAMA, the top player in Arkansas in 2013, and he's been pulling top players from Florida since the beginning. When he first got here, Saban talked about building a fence around Alabama...now he's building a fence around the Southeast!

Saban is on fire right now...you know with 99.9% of people, it's human nature after having such success to kinda lose the fire inside. It's almost like with Saban, the more success he has, the more motivated he becomes. It's a very rare attribute to find in someone, and it's one that makes him so successful/special.

Notice I didn't put anything about the top players in Mississippi on there...Terry, I believe you alluded to the reason why Saban tends to stay out of that state for the most part.

BTW, does anyone know for sure how his (Nkemdiche) name is pronounced? Can't wait to hear Vern make a stab at saying it. I'm sure he'll butcher the hell out of it.

He plays at Grayson, my son's rival. I know at the Grayson games I've attended and the ones that I've seen on TV they pronounce it "kim-dee-chee". My son's coaches refer to him by the same name. Buck Belue calls him that as well. Sooo, until he corrects all of them himself I'm going "kim-dee-chee".

BTW, my son came home from football the other day excited to let me know Nkemdiche committed to Alabama. I told him I couldn't find that anywhere on line. He was surprised as supposedly word "leaked out". If he does indeed commit I think it's one of the those things that has been brewing for a while.

Just curious.

Does the point we've been talking about that, here, since before we kicked off last season have anything to do with that "thought?"

Well you don't have to get all smart like that...

You'd never know that if you listened to the people in this area. "UGA just hasn't made an impact yet." In fact another football player told my son that RK's goal was to commit to Alabama just to decommit to UGA later. Seriously?! UGA has never been and will never be a player for RK. The UGA homers won't hear of it. Even when he commits they'll insist that he'll flip, so I guess it's another year of all this nonsense for me and other Tide fans in this area.

Oh, and they're saying the same thing about Reuben Foster. You know he's gonna flip at any time...:lance:

oh god, i feel your pain. all i hear from people over here is how nick saban is the devil for oversigning..:lance: guess they're just a little upset that players from the state of Georgia want to go elsewhere so they can actually play for championships.

My wish is that DGB signs with us and for the heck of it that Jaboo switches to us. But, to be honest I think it's going to be really quiet for us come tomorrow. But, I think we have as good a chance at getting DGB as anybody. I really don't see Jaboo not going to FSU.
