🏈 My sign is Ready for Bama vs Aub game!

"We Want Bama" signs speaks to dominance, respect, admiration, etc. The other fans may be joking, but understand they're giving respect to the Alabama program by holding these signs.

What has UCF done to deserve this, beat Auburn last year?

My thought, let other teams fans hold their "We Want ..." signs. It's kinda like rushing the field after a win.
Do you, actually, know their mindset when making those signs? I can honestly tell you that the UCF fans in particular only want a chance at the king and there is no respect. I have been to a UCF game and they think they can actually hang with Bama. So get off of your high elephant.

I’ve been to one also, and most of the “adult” UCF fans do understand how it really would go. The “fringe” younger fans are really dilusional...
In person watching them is like watching a really good high school team

My first reaction is to type up a sarcastic political metaphor, but this isn't the place for that; suffice it to say here's a time when experience that comes with age pays off.

when i was down in NOLA for the championship game in 2012 against lsu...we talked to a number of older lsu fans. all of them...every single one of them...said that BAMA would win the game handily. they ALL said, "you can't give Nick Saban a month to prepare and expect him to not have his team ready to beat your ass."

they all knew from experience how he was with a month to prepare and in revenge games. all the younger fans? arrogant...in-your-face...constantly screaming "tiger bait!"...nothing but attitude. all the BAMA fans (younger or older)? nothing but class...hyped up...smiling...not getting into anyone's face...just ready for the game.

we also met the place kicker for the Saints (VERY nice guy, btw). he said how much the guys on the Saints team can't stand lsu fans and how they're all arrogant as hell and always screaming about everything and saying how much better they are than everybody else. he said all the BAMA fans he met were really cool, reserved, and just ready for the game.

i always thought it was funny how a city/stadium that lsu claims is like their "second home" really doesn't care for them, lol.

and reading about the younger ucf fans reminded me of that. and reading your post, Michael, about "experience that comes with age pays off" is a definite truth. those younger ucf fans are riding a high right now that they've never had before. their team isn't known for being dominating for several seasons in a row or known for winning some big games or winning more championships (conference or national) than any other team. i'm not saying BAMA has done that either, but we've won our share of both. also, to claim yourselves "national champions" simply because you were the only undefeated team after all was said and done...? well...if that's one of the criteria, then BAMA gets to claim a national championship from 1966. which would give us one more to add to the list.
