🏈 My problems with the play calling.

I totally agree with CNS I have been thinking the exact same about playing not to lose. It seems like since were in the top two or three rankings in the country were just trying to hang on and sneek into the sec champ game undefeated. I like how we play when we feel like we aren't getting any respect. I know it was last year but the Georgia game last year most thought we would lose that one but we pounded them and played with an attitude. We threw it deep, threw it short, ran it, basically we said were gunna run whatever play we want to and make you like it Georgia. Now I know it's different team but it's just the way we approached the game that I loved we played to kill them not just pull out a win. We have the talent on offense to score on anyone IMO it's just a mental thing for the players and the coaches. Just my thoughts though. Love to hear replies. God bless.

I seriously doubt Saban has "veto" over the plays. I say this because that is the system DuBose ran, and I doubt Saban does anything like DuBose did.

I disagree with this, to an extent.

I'm sure he has veto of the plays. He hears when they are called in. (FWIW, his head set gives him one on one with the defensive staff, offensive staff, and there's also an open channel for all.)

But, considering the time element, it would be stupid to try to overturn a play call. The only wise option is a time out, regroup, and go again. We've seen that a few times.
