I'm not sure if you guys watch this guys videos each week on youtube but he does a hell of a job making highlight videos for every game. Last night he put the LSU one up shortly after the game but this morning when I went to check it out his Youtube account is now suspended and all of the videos are gone.

Does anyone know who this person is or where other than youtube he may post his content? Tried searching but to no avail so far. Thanks in advance
 
Ah ok found it but my guess is it wont last long as he just added "The" to his name and apparently started a new account. Matt Leddo is his name and here is the LSU game highlights [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8pqHGeAR6w[/ame]
 
Terry he has already uploaded 7 of his videos again, as mentioned above the music isnt always the best but the quality is generally top notch and he is very quick to put them up. The biggest difference I notice in his videos is he does not use the same play over and over to make them longer like some do and instead uses some "good" plays that normally wouldn't make most highlights.

If you have the time, load them over on the video directory...
 
Also for anyone interested the videos are now up in the video directory here. As of now they are in reverse order so the VT game is the first one shown as opposed to LSU but Terry is going to try and look into changing that this evening if he has a chance.

I just grabbed it off of Youtube.

I think most of the folks who originally upload these clips are ripping it from their DVR via Firewire or have their PC setup with an AV card to act as a DVR essentially.

I have not found a good source online for raw game footage either.

As far as editing software, Windows Movie Maker has plenty of capability and is easy to use.
 
So if I were to pull this video from youtube and use movie maker to edit it myself would I be able to mute his music and replace it or is it more complicated than that?

Yep. That is exactly what I just did.

Muted his music and added my own. Its really pretty darn simple.

You will need a media converter to get it from MP4 to AVI or WMV format for WMM first.

I use one that is free called Oxelon Media convertor.
 
I saved his information at home in case this happened but wont be there until late tonight. He is on twitter and I believe his video description mentioned somewhere to keep up with him for updates if they were taken down again. I cant remember his name for the life of me right now though. If someone doesnt find it before I get home I will post it late tonight.
