| TV/MOVIES/MUSIC Movies/ TV series that you'll watch a marathon of...OR, record.

Recently watched Jessie Stone series. It’s older 2005-2015 or so. Tom Selleck is a fired LAPD detective who becomes police chief in a small Massachusetts town ripe with corruption. Probably more suited for dinosaurs.

I don't know if I've seen all of them. I've seen a few. Coincidentally, I have Blue Bloods playing in the background right now...another one I can have on for episode after episode.

Ramble: Even with Magnum PI, his best role may have been in The Sacketts.

Yes to Seal Team, no to Paramount+! I agree! One of my daughters friends logged her account into our TV, so I’ve bing watched for free!
I get Paramount through my Walmart+ thing, free. So, no, it's not Paramount.

The show digressed in my view. While building up character back stories is critical, making a show about the Seals and including what's basically soap opera back stories...

Season five, maybe, is when it really started...

The dude turned Bones into a love story, for goodness sake. And that was a good show until that "exec producer" tag was added.

About the only thing I can sit and binge watch is sitcom type stuff... with the exception of Band of Brothers. Even a show like Justified, or Deadwood... shows I loved... I don't care to see more than 1 episode at any given time. But stupid stuff like Seinfeld, Cheers, Wings, Everybody Loves Raymond... I can watch those marathon style all day. The best show to just have on for a marathon-style lazy afternoon is King of the Hill.

Years ago, 24 was a great marathon show, just based on it's style. In fact, I watched season 1 straight through on DVD's one year the day after Christmas.
Back to back on BBC today

@TerryP I will binge on BritBox, Acorn, Prime Video, Freevee. I love to watch some of the old shows. I also will watch something that YouTube will be showing.

Did you know The Old Man is coming back?
