Miss State just graduated the best defensive talent since the Mullen's era. Mullen can also squeeze gold from mud at the QB position and the new guy was just lost most of the year. It should be at least interesting to see what they can get out of the transfer.

There will be unrest in Starkville during and after football season. Life without Mullen is about to smack them full in the face. I have heard several in-state guys talking about how they were going to "plug player X in on the defense and should still be pretty good" They lost some (for MSU) generational talent off that defense. They are not set at QB even with this xfer along with the depth issues that they always face. I struggle to see 7 wins on that schedule realistically
