🏈 Michigan State vs Alabama

But how bad it would be to make him go to see Bama play? No I don't think so, he would be some real bad mojoe.

Barkley is obviously an Auburn fan, but he also calls it like he sees it. If Alabama was better, he'd say it. But why would he go? He is paid by Capital One to do commercials and support the brand. Capital One doesn't sponsor the Cotton Bowl and gets no tickets. Since Capital One is the title sponsor of the Orange Bowl, he'll go there, be seen in the stands, maybe be interviewed by the announcers, etc. I don't think it was ever a decision to make about Cotton Bowl or Orange Bowl.

You know @OldPlayer I know you right, I thinking that Capital One was doing the whole run on the NC games. But I see that I'm wrong on that. But Barkley being fair to Bama that I don't see, it in his blood he just don't love Bama.

Mullaney IMO is the guy Michigan State is going to have trouble with. Not only a solid route runner and knows how to attack the defense under neath, but great at getting separation and catching in traffic. Really the unsung hero of this season.

Our defense has to get pressure on Cook or he will stand back there and pick us apart. The defensive front of MSU is solid but I think by the time the 4th quarter rolls around, we will have a huge advantage and be able to pound the ball.

On offense, we have to ground and pound to set up the pass, not vice versa. The thing I do not want see is a lot of jet sweeps and sideway throws.

Yessss, this. Just make em quit, don't get cute, and overpower them.

I met Chuck outside the Superdome before the Bama LSU NC game in January of 2012. He was very cordial. Wasn't wearing Bama or Auburn gear. Just there for a good time. Had 3 very lovely looking young ladies in tow...

I met him on the PlaneTrain at Atlanta's airport. Very nice. He's Auburn all the way, but will also root for anything from Alabama that isn't playing Auburn.

He doesn't love Alabama (the school) but loves Alabama (the state). If Alabama (the school) is playing in the NC, he'll root for them because he wants what is best for the state.
