I wish him well, transfer or not. ME degree alone is impressive, and he's given the program five years to get there. I agree that he was going to be a stopgap starter this season as the true freshmen had a chance to develop, then both freshmen were required as emergency starters. Playing time next season for him at Bama is not guaranteed. Whether at Bama or elsewhere, I hope he gets a chance to develop and get a shot in the NFL, and he knocks out a one-year masters to further his opportunities post-football.
I love a feel-good thread like this getting sullied by those who must knock other players. Based on the proclivities of some posters, taking his twitter private was a good call.
