🏈 McMillion says he's been grated his sixth year of eligibility

Damn, hope McMillion gets a shot in the NFL then...

I am really glad the guy gets a chance to play one more year of college ball. With that said we have to keep in mind he never played for the most part in 4 years yet he was going to start in year 5. Was the starting spot due to his all of sudden improvement or the fact those behind him were bad? I think we know the reason after 12 games.

He was going to start because he gained valuable experience in back up previous years and knows the system. If Moses comes back we will have a dynamic duo starting and great, experienced back up.

"Shutting off outside voices" in a sense. Okay.

Tough call for the guy. Grad school guy? There's a decision. Then, adding another year of football all the while knowing what the percentages are for guys leaving called ball and making it in the league? Even with the average numbers across the NCAA being lower than Bama's, geezzz.

That's a big commitment if the league is the reward in mind. Whew.

I wish him well, transfer or not. ME degree alone is impressive, and he's given the program five years to get there. I agree that he was going to be a stopgap starter this season as the true freshmen had a chance to develop, then both freshmen were required as emergency starters. Playing time next season for him at Bama is not guaranteed. Whether at Bama or elsewhere, I hope he gets a chance to develop and get a shot in the NFL, and he knocks out a one-year masters to further his opportunities post-football.

I love a feel-good thread like this getting sullied by those who must knock other players. Based on the proclivities of some posters, taking his twitter private was a good call.

Fall camp, 2020: Lee will come into camp with more starts calling the defense than Moses. Moses will still have several years of experience over Lee. It makes for an interesting story to watch.

One thing I've found interesting about things we've seen this season comes from the players point of view. Take Lee as one example. He knows, and has admitted it's the case, that he shouldn't have been on the field as much as he was last season. He, along with the other freshman, knew they were being pushed into the situation they found themselves in this fall.

I'm left with the impression the players have a better grasp on what happened this season than the majority of their critics.
