not that Mcelroy in bad...

But, if JPW goes does, so goes our season. He simply is not ready. If you think JPW is sometimes inconsistent, just watch somebody who was at Prom several months ago go into a game with 92K in the SEC.

McElroy has been at UA for over a year now. His biggest challenge will be speed of the game....

hopefully he will get some much needed game time against Houston... he may even see some time against FSU...

I'm so torn over that issue.. I compeltly 100% understand why you don't put McElroy in at this point... but JPW has got to gte his head back in the game... and him losing the number one spot may just give him what he needs.

On another note after the game... the team bus dropped off 3 guys.. one who looked a lot like JPW, at Coleman.... I wonder if they stayed late watching films and getting new holes ripped.

Their skill sets are practically the same. If you saw them standing next to each other, with the exception of the red hair, you would be seeing two players that practically look alike. From what's been seen, he does have a little more zip on the ball.

Looking at Florida State and comparing JPW with Drew Weatherford, Drew has a stronger arm but JPW scrambles better. The interesting thing about this game is along the lines of what has already been mentioned here. If both QB's were to go down, FSU has the experience factor on its side.

I bring that up because we are going to need a strong game from the QB position to win this game.

Watching Bowden's "suspensions" are going to play a strong role as well...but, that shouldn't come as a shock to anyone.

They don't even sit on the same bus. GM and NF are on bus #2 with the D.

OK, let me put this more clearly. In pads...'bout the same height, same weight, etc.

I am not sure about this. While it would hurt us, I think we are still capable of continuing forward. He would make mistakes, but nothing that would automatically turn us into desperation O. Still, I hope we don’t have to find out. JP is our leader and he has very good backups.

I'm thinking that a little more zip would be a great thing. :)

JPW problems

JPW is still up to his old high school lofting the ball ways. he eyeballs the intended receiver throughout the play and never glances at other receivers. also his fumbles have hurt the team, and no blaming the OL this year. yeah i'm ready for a change

John Parker is an outstanding player. I can't believe this talk is even coming up right now. I've been a strong believer in him since he was backing up Brodie. Remember the drive at Auburn?

In the fashion of the Britney fan.............

"Leave John Parker alone!!!!!!!!"

I can bet you if we have a better QB saban would have him on the field. They see the players everyday.Wilson has been off a little but he has also rallied the team from behind twice. :)

LOL! I was going to say that I think Terry was talking about generalities there.

i'm not jumping ship on him, i just would like for him to go through his reads instead of focusing on one reciever. he has potential to be great, just needs some work.
