🏈 McElroy shooting a bird?

Not sure if that is what he is doing though.

Most likely a signal, if he meant to insult someone he'd have looked directly at the auburn bench.

Been cool if he did though.

EDIT: Also looks like his ring finger.

At first glance it looks like he's giving the middle finger salute. I believe someone (on the Auburn board, maybe a Bama fan?) suggested that he was holding up a three.

It clearly isn't a signal as the team is behind him running the other direction. Could this have been after his third TD pass? Early celebration and assuming three in a row? Who knows--in the heat of the moment athletes do all kinds of stuff.

I do sincerely hope is recovers well though. Regardless of team, I don't like to see anyone hurt and concussions are scary as hell.

Did anyone see #32 on auburn's side flipping people off pregame, just before everyone took the bench, both sides had just gotten through warming up. I thought it was pretty classless.

Considering you cant see his full hand how do you know other fingers arent out or up? Maybe he is holding his mouthpiece, etc. I could find a freeze frame of lots of people and say they are doing something they really arent.

The most disrespectful thing I saw was the two Auburn players laughing when McElroy went down......and the AU LB Freeman giving Greg the STF while on the ground..:frown:...Greg was hurt before the concussion.

I thought I was seeing things at first but I brought binoculars to the game and I saw fans flipping off back, or at least doing something in return (I assume the returned the favor) I saw one finger up, it looked like he was saying Auburn was number one and he wasn't using his pointer finger to say it...

(yea I'm sure he would just randomly hold up his ringer finger or pinky finger, because that means everything in society today *rolls eyes*)
