I'm not building my expectation to be a final 4 team this year. But I do want a fun team and we got that in spades. Collin is a blast and he's really the one that sets the pace and attitude on the court and it's his flamboyant antics that's getting opponent's panties in a wad.

Can't wait for the next showtime.

Today, I'd take a second round exit and call it a year. I know I'm beating this horse again but what the hell. He's said from day one we'd begin to see dividends in year three.

I just like to watch basketball. I haven't thought about where we would end the season even once. Avery Johnson should get props for the way he handled himself in ridiculous circumstances. Commentators kept saying why not just forfeit the game, I think Avery and this Bama team hit cult status just for sticking it out.

They're getting play out of it, no doubt. I've heard it on LeBatard, read about it, caught a tweet concerning something Coach K had mentioned about 3 on 5, and saw another ex-coach say it was the best loss he'd ever seen.

1 That comment means nothing, just rambling.

2 Another rambling comment with zero substance. All your doing is tossing out a word salad that means nothing more than "I dont agree with you so I'm not going to let it go" and then accusing me of not having anything to stand on.

3 Did me to say again that RPI means absolutely jack shit that early in the season? The even more hilarious thing is that a loss like Saturday night means a million times more than a win over UTA. I got a feeling that point is gnawing at you a hell of a lot more than me thinking UTA wasn't a quality win. Still... get over it.

4 I didn't even say anything about a "jockstrap", I said hop off my jock aka get off my nuts. It's a figure of speech meaning back the fuck off and get over it. Cant believe I had to spell that out.

Clueless. You don't have any idea how the selection committee works. You don't have a clue what kind of team UTA was last year, how they finished in the RPI, and what it means to teams they face this season. All of this has been pointed to in basketball threads but you either don't read them or just don't pay attention to anything other than what you feel. It is no big deal being a ffo. Just admit to it.

If we catch a break with matchups (yes, I'm assuming we make Dance), I could see this team making Sweet 16. We will struggle if matched early with talented bigs.

They won 20+ games (one win over Top 25 teams) and got put out in the third round of the NIT. And I pretty clearly know how RPI works, which is exactly why I said it means jack shit three games into the season. It's based on wins, losses and strength of schedule. So, please tell me how SOS means ANYTHING when the season had barely begun? They hadn't beaten anyone, so how is that accounted for? How did you know how good or bad teams they are playing in the future is going to play out? It's EXACTLY why I said it's just as pointless as a Top 25 football ranking in week 2 or even a SOS ranking in football that early.

Here we are a week later and people are still jumping all over me over this, jesus christ move the hell on.

Here we go, fuck it... the win over UTA was the biggest win any team has had so far this season. IT WAS MONUMENTAL IN THE HISTORY OF ALABAMA HISTORY! UTA WILL SURELY BE A FINAL FOUR TEAM! MY GOD I CANT BELIEVE BAMA WON! Boy, Kentucky and Florida are gonna get blown out by Bama now! WE BEAT UTA! How can we lose now?! It's not like UTA is going to end up as a NIT team again or anything...
