🏈 Max Johnson with a broken throwing hand

Billy Lucci (sp?) indicated a few days ago he was out this week.

A&M has a bigger QB problem this weekend than Bama which is the reason we haven't seen the line move in A&M's direction.
And ours still might play.

He's listed as day-to-day, so there's at least a small chance Bryce will play. But all things being equal, I'd rather him sit this one out, get healed up, and be back for the stretch that's coming up. Especially next week when the guys head to Knoxville.

I firmly believe Milroe will do well against aTm. They lost to App State, barely beat Arkansas (who we manhandled last week), lost to Miss State, and beat Miami by only 8. They're 3-2. I know, I know.....don't count any team out of any game. On any given Saturday, anything can happen (USCe, 2010). But looking at the numbers, Jalen will do fine.

Plus, revenge for last year.

All of them wish they had Bama's "problem" at QB. Someone on ESPN U said that when Young went out, Alabama put Derrick Henry in at QB.

It's going to be an interesting game because of this storyline. Josh Pate made a comment that ran something like "paper cut to death" when talking about this weekend.

There's nothing more demoralizing than having the ball run down your throat. I don't think there's a lot to fear from the A&M offense—even with Johnson. The CFN preview points to 16 points for the Aggies. I'd buy that if half of those come in garbage time.

How many will they stack? I expect seven with Jimbo forcing his DC to keep those corners on islands—selling out to stop the run. In my opinion that'll translate to Milroe with six to eight carries, 70+ yards rushing.

Hopefully more than 3 yards passing.

I hope The Terminator will get at least two or three sacks! To'o To'o will make up for his bone head PF! I would love to see Kool-Aid put the afterburner on and score on a punt return!

There is plenty of motivation for this game. We have to remained focused.I believe if Milroe is the starter, A&M will play up to stop the run. This should leave the back end open for WRs to get deep. which means the OL will need a great game (open holes and protect the QB.

Don't need to worry about the motivation. Since Saban left Michigan State, he has lost to the same team in consecutive years only three times. To Florida at LSU in 2000-2001, and at Bama to LSU in 2010-2011 and Ole Miss in 2014-2015. A$M has Hell to pay.

I am sure long term Milroe will be fine but he has a long way to go throwing the ball. Lets not pretend the 3rd qtr against Arkansas didn't happen, it did.

With that said I believe BY will sit out the game. Hopefully with Milroe knowing he is starting, he and BoB will be more comfortable throwing the ball at least when needed.

A&M will likely play their best game coming off a bad loss. We need to play clean so we do not give them any confidence.

For Texas to score more than 30 points, They need Max Johnson. He doesn't make mistakes, but he's solid QB, nothing to get excited about. now that he's out for a while, Does Jimbo stick with King knowing that he is likely to make mistakes, turning over the ball, especially against elite defense. Do he wants to throw his freshman out against the wolves? Common sense tells me we'll see King starting and with King, think he is likely to throw 1-2 interceptions, that will determine the outcome of the game.

For his offense to work, He needs Max Johnson. TAMU has tough hill to climb against Bama, and that's me being gentle.

Interesting you say that.
Rushing defense 97. Texas A&M 170.2
Passing Defense 32. Texas A&M 188.4

Let's say if Jimbo stacks with 7, I would run with 1 back offense and spread our WRs out. If OL buy our QBs some time, there will be explosive plays, especially if they put their CBs on island, meaning middle of the field will be available? Am I right? I also see opportunities for QB runs as well.

Another thing is I expect lot of blitzes. Jimbo will do whatever it takes to on points. He's famous for window dressing on offense, and trying to confuse folks.

Young is game time decision. He took today off to rest his shoulder, and then won't throw again until Saturday. That's about 48 hours of rest. I believe he will play.. but Milroe will play as well.
