🏈 Marquis Maze On Twitter

Wait...What?!

He needs to spill the beans right now!

If I had to bet a dollar, it's either the offensive package with Milroe that they've saved or he's heard that against UGA, they are throwing caution to the wind and putting in designed runs for Young (something that has been talked about).

You can’t just throw caution to the wind, or try some new package or what have to a team like Georgia and expect everything to go flawlessly. The barn, maybe but then again….

Does he know something we don't know?

I will bet they have some packages with Milroe that we see in the SECCG. Also think that when we get to the SECCG and beyond hopefully they will unleash some RPO with Young that they have not use they need to get through the season intact. Use Youngs running more as a planned weapon.

Once we get to post season I bet they unload the playbook.

UGA looses to Bama on a QB change once again.

The reason is, they couldn't afford to run Bryce during the regular season. In order to win in the postseason, they'll have to.

I do believe we've been, to some degree, sandbagging on our strategy. It's been maddening that it's almost cost us due to poor execution. The question is - will we execute the GA game plan with limited errors? Our performance thus far says probably not.

I just want to throttle auburn. Anything after that is gravy. My expectations were "recalibrated" a few weeks back.

If the secret package is indeed Milroe that would be awesome.... Because the truth is, the OL is a glaring issue in that game and a scrambling QB is the best way to overcome that issue.

On the other hand, that in itself wouldn't be enough. There has to be improvements on the line and in a few other areas. But it's still possible!!

Maybe the secret is our Defense will learn how to communicate and stop having bust in the secondary. Offense production has been fine except the LSU game even with the issues we have had.

Ha, that defense is what it is. They won't magically fix it. We never would have lost to Texas A&M if we could have anything to fix.
I agree with that … so whatever Maze is alluding to doesn’t involve the D even though that and the O-line are definitely in need of some sort of evil genius’s plan or better yet a genie who will grant Saban about seven wishes.

I am hoping it's a surprise package that no other team could have planned for. One can only hope Kirby is the same guy he's always been and has no Plan B. That or that O'Brien has some kind of NFL planning trick we can throw on them.

I'm not understanding the logic behind "we're gonna break out this secret package in the biggest game of the year." If it's something like Milroe running the "Wildcat" that runs the risk of it backfiring just as much as it does of having success. Just throwing him out there in those packages without actually executing them in a game before could be disaster. If it's just "unleashing Bryce" in the sense of calling more runs with him that seems like a much different (and logical) thing.

Completely agree, I was being sarcastic. We keep hammering the offense but even with the OL and drop issues it is still one of the most productive offenses in the SEC and country except for one game (LSU). If they fixed the drops, fumble and did not get a sack that forced a long fg, we probably put up 50 points. That would have been a much more comfortable win and maybe even covered the spread.

This team will go as far as the D performance will take them or the offense will have to out score everyone. I really had thought they were turning the corner on D and I think they have improved but the inconsistency this late in the year is mind blowing.
