Coaches Hot Seat 2015

So, how long before the Barn runs him out of town? I think they give him at least one more year. But if year 4 doesn't get better I don't think he'll be back for season 5.

Thoughts/predictions on future of Auburn coaching staff - or just Auburn misery in general?

.....maybe they should call him "Wrong-way Gus". He's definitely heading in the wrong direction in the W/L columns. Note the W/L for the SEC totals. I don't think a 13-11 record in the SEC after 3 years is what the barn rats were expecting.

It will also depend on how he does against LSU, Bama, and UGA. If he can win against Bama and at least one of those other two, then he may be safe even if the overall record is less than stellar.

Gus' offense is his big selling point and it has always been gimmicky to begin with - relying on "trickeration" and miraculous explosive plays. Defenses are learning better how to deal with it, so now what will he do? He needs a superman at QB and doesn't have one right now. Muschamp's actual defensive coaching talent has not lived up to his reputation. I wouldn't be surprised with more coaching staff changes for 2016 and unless they at least win the west or beat Bama, Gus is gone at that point.

Lashlee will be the scapegoat this year, and if they lose Muschamp to another job, then the engine on the bus will start to overheat, the tranny will start to slip, and it may crack a head before they even get too many miles out of it.

I don't think so. Craig could be the scapegoat. Those two butt heads a lot, and since Lashlee is Gus Gus's mini me, I wouldn't be surprised if Craig is the odd man out.

Really ? lol

Who and why ? That is crazy. The only complaint I've ever had with CNS is his time management during games, and his failure to identify and sign a stellar QB. Other than that all the man does is win.
And his tendency to play an injured "starter" over a healthy young backup. And that he hasn't won a championship in almost 3 years. And that he won't return my calls or emails or telegrams or snapchats

Malzahn will be given the chance to cut a few guys in order to save himself for another year. He really has himself in a dilemma though if you think about it. Fire his "golden boy" Lashlee who sucks ass as a QB coach or fire the Barn's "golden boy" Craig, who sucks ass as a WR coach? This could get ugly!

Frankly, the auNecks should be thankful for the quality of coach that they do have, even though he isn't very good. It's probably the best they are going to be able to do. Their fans are unrealistic and ignorant. No one wants to coach there because they know that stinking, rotten, nasty, old cheating drunk still runs the show when he can find a pair of pants that aren't at the bottom of a lake.

It is at times like this that I truly enjoy bantering with the Barners. I remember when Saban was hired.......Tubberville has a winning record against him. My statement was this: He will always have a winning record against Saban, because you will fire him the second time he loses to Saban at Bama..........it only took one loss. Here it is 8 years later and Tubberville still has a winning record against Saban. All be it 5-4.......he still has a winning record.......Barner Logic.

Don't tell me you've brought "auNecks" here, too...
