šŸ“” Mac Jones is moving up McShay's draft board very quickly

Kiper:

5. D. Smith (#1 WR) (Jamar Chase - #6)
9. P. Surtain (#1 CB)
11. J. Waddle (#3 WR)
24. Mac Jones (5th QB)
--------------------------------------
#1 RB - N. Harris
#4 OG - A. Leatherwood ( Can someone please explain this....?!)
#1 OC - L. Dickerson
#1 DT - C. Barmore
#4 ILB - D. Moses
#4 LS - T. Fletcher

Consecutive years with two WR's in the first round I doubt that has ever been done before.

Just thinking about that is crazy. Of the top 32 upper classmen, 6 of them are at 1 school. That is amazing.

For what it's worth, in my amateur opinion I could see both Mac and Barmore continuing to rise. The way Barmore is playing, he looks every bit the part. We all know how QB hungry NFL teams are. Nice to see Waddle still hovering around that top 10, and of course D Smith has been incredible. I can't see N Harris going any higher, but the fact he's even in that 1st round convo is a nice payoff for coming back this season. Let's hope all stay healthy! RTR

What are the odds Waddle comes back, like DeVonta did, to play his 4th year and improve his draft status even further?

I saw it mentioned on the Rant. Not saying he should or will.....

Would be schweet. He'd win the Heisman likely scoring a touchdown three different ways if I had to guess. Kickoff return, punt return, and receiving. maybe even a fourth way running the ball.

Have you seen Bama's 2nd team QB play this season? Waddle better go to the NFL this year.
That's not very fair. I agree he hasn't shown me very much, but you don't go from the top rated QB in the country to the worst QB on the team that quickly. Many of us thought Mac looked like he should be a water boy last year and this year he's the leading Heisman candidate. Give Bama some credit.

LOL, they've barely had Young do anything but hand off the last couple outings. When he got to do what he's best at vs Kentucky, you saw a couple amazing throws.

Sark will have to re-tool the offense next year. He did that from Tua to Mac, as they have different strengths. Young will run an offense more similar to Tua.

The thing about the Tua offense, was that Najee isn't the best type of back for that style, so the run game wasn't as smooth with Najee in a Tua offense. The other backs will fit better with Young. The OL will have to be retooled as well replacing Leatherwood, Brown, and Dickerson. Will Latham step in at RT? Dalcourt will be C. Not sure who will operate at LG (could they move in Cohen or George?).

Macs Heisman to lose....dueling QBs Saturday

Bama's DL has to get pressure on Trask early and often if we're win this game. UF has the most complete group of receivers we've seen since Dabo's Clemson teams. We don't want to get into another of those Ole Missy type scoring matches. LSU was able to block them and run the ball well enough to be able to find success throwing so Bama should be able to do the same plus some. We'll see.

Remember Mac Jones when he came in against Tennessee last year? When Bryce gets all the first team practice reps in spring and fall, it will make a huge difference in his overall performance.

Crazy that Dylan Moses isn't here.
It is but if you really look at what he has done this year although very solid and key to the defense getting the right calls, he has not performed as many thought he would. Being out a full year takes some time to get back. I just expected to see it happen sooner and at a higher level as the year went on.

You have to go back to his play before he was hurt and that was average to good but nowhere near elite. He looks the part but is missing football savvy. 3rd round maybe.
