He had a rough career. Four career starts in two years, 3 TD, 12 INT and a career QBR of 32.5. Oddly enough he's still in the NFL as a backup for the Raiders. He did have a successful career in college at Pitt.

Nope. AJ got injured and then traded. Peterman did 'beat out' Josh Allen for the starting job in week one but threw like four picks and got benched. If I remember correctly, the plan was to let Allen sit for a year and they thought AJ could lead them through another bad year until he got hurt. They also thought Peterman could do that but he was so atrocious in the first game they had no choice but to put Allen in.
