Ole #10 has to grow some confidence for sure. He looked to be scared shet-less at best. Nick took his commit trying to get 4 QB's on the roster and sometime that 4th means taking what you can get. I will be surprised if #10 is at Bama after the 2019 season.

I'd look scared too if my offensive line let 6+ feet, 250+ pounds of muscle and bad intentions run full speed at me. Even Tua was greatly affected by their rush in the second half, is he too not FBS material?

I think some are being a little too harsh on the guy. Consider the circumstances first of all, but also consider that we don't know exactly what the coaches told him before putting him out on the field. Yeah, it wasn't exactly awe-inspiring, but let's keep it in context.

The playoff start with Auburn then on to UGA.....the next phase if Bama were to get the far would actually be easier than playing LSU,MSU,AU,and UGA all with a one legged QB. It appears the Bama defense will give us a chance to be The King.

It’s a whole different offensive mind set when he comes into the game. Different plays are called, mostly runs for his play set and to run the clock. He is not in the game to throw the ball all over the field but they will throw some to keep the defense honest. I will say he has gotten more reps probably than any 3rd string QB in the country.

What's weird to me is there seems to be a focus on read option, speed option, etc. type stuff with Mac in the game. Why? Was he known as a dual threat coming out of high school? I thought he was a pocket passer.

Talk about a small sample size here. Kid geta a few snaps in mop-up and filling in for a banged up heisman candidate and he’s being judged as unfit. Guy has a good arm and, given extra time with the 1’s will probably do just fine. We dont need a great Qb to win. Did you notice the first two scoring drives? Mostly running..

I bet he can had off the ball “real good” whoch should be 75% of his job when he’s in there. Geez
