Im so tired of seeing all the lsu players running their mouth about how they dont think we even belong in the game. It makes me sick alot of the clips they are showing on espn they keep saying that. I hope we smash them in the mouth and show them who belongs there. :a:

This year is a perfect storm of sorts. The flaws in the BCS system are highlighted in that you end up with two teams from the same division, vice anywhere else. It created a rematch that may only serve to leave "the answer" unclear. You have two teams who both play a brand of ball that is entertaining only to a more learned fan-base such as our selves . It has a team that didn't even with its own division. And in the end it really rubs college football's nose in the fact that the SEC is better than them.

LSU can't be denied as belonging. The only avenue to vent is at Alabama. I have come to face it, right now we are the most hated team in America for all the reasons above.

Feels good, doesn't it?

I just think that the players should do their talking on the field and not worry about weither the other team should be there or not if they think we dont belong there so much then should have no problem beating us right? Lol

ok, let me say it correctly :) I couldn't care less. i'm still unclear why a clemson fan cares about LSU players

I'll say this, being a rival game already and being down in NO, things could get very interesting

I agree, things could get very interesting down there with this rare rival championship game down in NOLA. The fact they did beat us already will fuel the anger. If we win wouldn't surprise me if it got super nasty with a possible riot or two.

The only thing I've heard from LSU players is the one player who said that Bama "doesnt deserve" to be there. There really hasnt been any trash talk otherwise from either side.

FWIW, I haven't heard a thing from the LSU camp.

All I'm hearing his how 'Bama doesn't think we shoulda lost that game... which is unnerving to me.

That in a sense is true; they don't believe we should have lost that game. And, they're right.

I saw a comparison to '92 a minute ago. Frankly, I'm more at ease now than I was back in that January. (Of course, we do have to take into account there's been a few decades between the two and my anxiety level and football may have, may have, matured throughout the years.)

Steppin' back in time...

My concern going into that game in the Sugar against Miami wasn't offense, special teams, etc. I was worried about how the loss of Michael Rodgers would impact the team. As it is, it didn't.

We're a little banged up in our secondary right now which gives me a bit of a pause. That said, I still won't be surprised if this game ends up with Bama up by double digits when the fat lady sings on Beale.
